Europa League Roundup: Liverpool, Roma, And Leverkusen Take A Step Forward

In the night show, Premier League giants, Liverpool showed their superiority by beating Union Saint-Gilloise 2-0 at Anfield courtesy of goals from Ryan Gravenberch, and Diogo Jota.

Jose Mourinho’s Roma who have been struggling in the Serie A campaign this season finally had a reason to smile as they thrashed Servette 4-0 courtesy of goals from Romelu Lukaku, Lorenzo Pellegrini, and two goals from Andrea Belotti.

It was also a good night for German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen as they beat their hosts, Molde 2-1 courtesy of goals from Jeremie Frimpong, and Nigerian-born English midfielder Nathan Tella. Interestingly, their new talisman, Victor Boniface couldn’t get a goal in the game.
