Ariana Grande divorces Dalton Gomez after 2 years of marriage

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have decided to end their marriage. On Monday, Grande filed for divorce in Los Angeles citing "irreconcilable differences," according to a source familiar with the matter who spoke to CNN. A representative for Grande has not yet commented on the situation, but Laura Wasser, a family law attorney, is representing her in the proceedings. It is currently unknown who will be representing Gomez.

The couple tied the knot in 2021 in an intimate ceremony at their home in Montecito with less than 20 guests present. Grande's representative described it as a joyous occasion filled with love and happiness shared by both families.

Grande later posted photos of their wedding day on Instagram captioned "5.15.21," which showed her wearing a Vera Wang wedding gown while kissing Gomez who was dressed in a Tom Ford suit. The post has since been removed from her account.

Their union came after Grande's engagement to comedian Pete Davidson ended two years prior. She had collaborated with Justin Bieber on the song "Stuck With U" featuring Gomez in its music video before announcing their engagement that same year.

Rumors about trouble between them began circulating when she attended Wimbledon without her wedding ring last July, and they have kept their relationship mostly private ever since despite sharing occasional glimpses of each other on social media.

Prior to SAG-AFTRA going on strike last July, Grande had been busy filming the cinematic adaptation of “Wicked” alongside Bailey, Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum Michelle Yeoh and Bowen Yang while juggling personal commitments with Gomez.
