Popular Nigerian artist Oxlade has come under fire for allegedly exhibiting his late coworker Mohbad phony affection after the latter's passing.
He started this controversy by posting a screenshot of a message he sent to Mohbad in 2018 while lamenting his untimely death on social media.The snapshot, however, showed that he had blocked Mohbad from contacting him on Instagram, suggesting that Mohbad would not be able to know when he was online or had seen his message.Mohbad's chat will no longer be visible in his chat list thanks to the limited account setting, but he can still find it later on by searching for it
Additionally, he didn't reply to the message in which Mohbad had complimented his voice. Social media users were outraged by this, criticizing Oxlade for blocking Mohbad's account and attempting to offer hollow support in the wake of his death
